2017 NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest Presented By Verizon

The 2017 NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest of Verizon was presented at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 18, 2017 as part of NBA All-Star Weekend.

The participants included Troy Williams (Iowa Energy), John Jordan (Raptors 905), Alfonzo McKinnie (Windy City Bulls) and Trahson Burrell (Long Island Nets).

The NBA D-League consists of 19 teams for the 2015-16 season, all of which are linked to an NBA franchise: Austin Spurs, Bakersfield Jam, Canton Charge, Delaware 87ers (Philadelphia 76s), Erie BayHawks, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Grand Rapids Drive, Idaho Stampede, Iowa Energy, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles D-Fender (Lakers), Maine Red Claws, Oklahoma City Thunder, Raptors 905, Reno Bighorns, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Sioux Falls Skyforce , Santa Cruz Warriors, Texas Legends (Dallas Mavericks) and Westchester Knicks (New York Knicks).

Three other NBA franchises have bought one-to-one partners for the 2016-17 season: the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls.
